Quattrocento

poems

.

The journal is always keen to consider new work
from little known or even unknown writers and artists, including risk-taking, provocative or experimental work.  To stand a reasonable chance of acceptance, however, any experiments made must, in the end, be artistically or aesthetically successful.  It must also, of course, be in a medium suitable for publication in a small magazine.

Suitable submissions include poetry, prose-poems, any genre except book reviews (although essays or articles which focus on particular books will be considered), artwork, both colour and black and white, and photographs.  Personal memoirs of significant writers or artists are particularly welcome.

The journal accepts prose works up to around 3000 words in length, although an average length piece would be between 2000 - 2500 words.  Longer poems of up to around 150 lines will also be carefully considered, although they must justify their length.
